Fiddleback American Walnut FTR Stock for a Stiller TAK 30 Action

This action has the same footprint as a Remington. I made the bedding block, so that the two action can be used interchangeably. This rifle can be used with a sling or as a FTR rifle.

I used Thuya Burl has the pistol grip cap and Blood Wood as an accent stripe. Also, I added a shadow line that matches the flow of the stippling on the pistol grip.

Something new……. this is my pattern for an F-Class stock. The butt stock is rounded out for bag clearance. The piece of Koa is to add color. Vents in the bottom for continuous cooling.

F-Class Front Rest Center Column

The reason for cutting this wedge shaped (or tapered) slot is to prevent the center column from crashing when the hold down screw is loosened, causing  black finger disease.  I’ve noticed that some F-Class shooters have injured fingers.
