I received this stock and it was covered with faux carbon fiber tape. While taping the tape off I discovered it was previous painted Lapua Blue. It had a drop port in it. I had to fill where the trigger was. Also, cut the cheekpiece off and filled in that area. I did this so the owner could have an adjustable cheekpiece and buttplate. Bedded it for a Stolle Panda F-Class action.

The paint job on this brought me back to when I painted motorcycle tanks. The new red color is similar to the Soul Red on the new Mazadas. It involves a number of different base coats. Then the metallic coast and a clear coat.
