First Time in 20 Years.

The last time I had a new rifle was 20 years ago. Thought it might be time for a new one. I know folks are waiting for theirs, I have been working on them congruently.

I took a lot of the scrapes from prior builds and laminated them together. There are pieces of English Walnut, Koa, Turkish Walnut, Maple and American Walnut. Pistol cap is Curly Koa and Bloodwood. The action is one of the last Stolle Pandas. I weighed my old rifle with the offset scope, it was 15 pounds. The new rifle will hopefully be a little lighter.

I’m hiding this rifle from Trudy. She might want to abscond with it, because it looks like a patch work quilt. Sue and Clare think it’s amazing.

Next post will be about the rail extentensions.

Without further ado, here is the rifle of many colors.
