This action has the same footprint as a Remington. I made the bedding block, so that the two action can be used interchangeably.

This rifle can be used with a sling or as a FTR rifle.

Spring has sprung in Albuquerque. In reality, we only had one day of Spring.. yesterday was in the 90.

So, Summer is here, and the portable AC has been taken out of storage and is back in the workshop.

Here is a Claro Walnut Stock for a Barnard Action, it’s going to be used as Palma rifle.

Rosewood Grips for Eliseo / AR15’s / Tubb Rifles

This grip was made from a block of Dalbergia Maritima. It is extreme dense, but easy to cut on the band saw. Works well with a #50 wood rasp and files. It’s sands well, but the dust sticks to everything and stains your hands. When finished with a satin finished it reminds me of a plum.

I used Thuya Burl has the pistol grip cap and Blood Wood as an accent stripe. Also, I added a shadow line that matches the flow of the stippling on the pistol grip.

FOR SALE: Size 38 10X Shooting Coat

This is not a pretty, pretty princess coat. This is a coat for someone who wants to shoot good offhand.

I used it from 1980-2005. Structural stitching is very good. There is some cosmetic wearing on the quilting.

Sleeves are modified so they bend. The rubber has been replaced on the right shoulder. A piece of rubber has been added to the inside of the right arm, give nice pocket for butt of the rifle. Longer straps with updated buckles have been added.

These were custom fit to the owner, therefore they were completely hand-carved.

Mausingfield/ America Rifle an English Walnut Stock

This is a highly figured piece of English Walnut with burls and flowers. Along the bottom of the stock there’s a burl/flower that looks like an owl and one side looks like the Sandia Mountains.

This is in 30 PCR.

The owner is enjoying this rifle immensely.

American Walnut F-Class Stock with Figured English & Claro Walnut Inlay on Forend

The owner has 3 actions with the same barrel block mounting system. He wanted to be able to use one stock. I built a bedding system that would accomplish this task. The two pieces of Claro Walnut on the forend are mirror copies. It’s low profile.

Left Handed American Walnut Stock for a Walthers KK 500

This action has been really fun to work on. I think I’ve done 5 of these KK500 retrofits. Seeings how this action is meant to go in a metal stock, there’s quite a few modifications and measurements needed to make the conversion for a wood stock. This includes making a bedding block from aluminum and Delrin.

If I were starting over in the Smallbore world, I’d get this action… instead of my old model 37 with a Wright Allen trigger.

This is a Left-handed American Walnut stock with a Barnard Action.

This rifle is for a Palma shooter. He cut his own trees down, made some blanks for me. I made him a stock.

This has a bedding block with an integral recoil lug. Three action screws could be used.

This is a Swindlehurst action that had a PPC boltface. I wish I knew more of the history of this piece. Anyone have any thoughts?

Koa Purple Heart and Maple Stock for a High Power Swindlehurst Action

Had to open up the bolt face to fit a .308 case. Also, change the angle on the extractor to fit over the case. Came up with a firing pin spring. Also made a scope rail and a recoil system that is integrated into the bedding and the middle screw.
