Hawaiian Mango Rifle Stock

mango-stock-img_2047
mango-stock-img_2045I picked up this piece of Mango when I was in Hawaii last year, and I’ve been saving it to build a rifle stock.  It’s fairly easy to work with, but sharp tools are necessary as it can be ‘stringy’.  Interesting grain and color.  This will be a 223 Palma rifle in a long action post 64 Winchester.
