Inletting for rail and trigger guard.
Here pics of inletting and finished inletting. I got so excited about working on this that I forgot to take the bedding process photos!

I began making the original custom grip for tube guns, first the TK-2000 and then the started doing the Eliseo grips. I have also been doing the original cheek pieces for that long. I started the sliders when F-class started.
The buttplate and scope mounts were lost years ago, probably during WWII. This is also the Scheutzen rifle that I worked on the fore end a couple months ago. The scope blocks are for a Unertl and they have been rust blued with Baker’s Express.
Here’s picture of the latest grip. If needed matching cheek pieces can be custom made.
This will fit an Eliseo, TK2000, AR15 or AR10.
“Often imitated, never duplicated.”
Note that the piece is out together with splines and no screws. It weighs 3 ounces. It goes on the blue stock that is made of Spruce that I made a few years ago. It’s either Lapua blue or Kentucky blue. 😉
My daughter says it looks like a Tardis. 🙂
This is an adjustable cheekpiece. It will be able to be removed without changing the adjustments on the cheekpiece.
These four pictures show the progression from duplicator to rough rasping of the pistol grip and adding a Rosewood pistol grip cap. The dark areas will show the color of the finished wood. Picture #4 is the Rosewood pistol grip cap.
This project is a real challenge, as the stock comes already finished. I have tried to keep it as original as possible with no markings. This is not a stainless steel action, but a Barnard action that I am using for markup. It is an unfinished, demised action.
