Three pieces of wood were selected for this project and set out to view. It was an unusual day in New Mexico as it rained. The piece of wood that the customer selected was not necessarily the one that I would have chosen, however it turned out to be a beautiful piece of wood with Fiddleback and Burl.

Since Barnard actions are so precision made, I don’t require the action, and can build the rifle without the action.
