European Walnut Smallbore Rifle

I am converting this rifle stock from left handed to right handed. This was a Clifford Pierson stock for an Anschutz rifle. I’ve added the pistol grip cap to lengthen the pistol grip so that the hand will be more in line with the trigger and reshaped the pistol grip on the right side. I’ve also pillar bedded the stock. The new cheekpiece is Koa and the pistol grip cap is English Walnut.
I was sorry to hear about the passing of Karl Kenyon. The action is one that Karl worked on a few years ago. Coincidentally, I finished this the same day that he died. He will be missed in the smallbore world.

Gustin Canted Rifle Stock Preparation for Duplicating

Due to the shape and configuration of the stock, another piece of wood needed to be laminated to the blank. Steve McGee supplied the original blank.

English Walnut Pistol Grips

To be used on one of Gary Eliseo’s Tube Guns. These are some of the leftover pieces that I glued together from the 52 Sporter. The owner was interested to see if I could make some matching grips for his tube guns. Since they cannot be put through the duplicator, they will be hand carved.
